Repair Cafe
Repair Cafe — Parish Hall - Every 3rd Saturday
Bring your broken items or bring your skills. All are welcome whether you need an item fixed or want to volunteer as a repair helper. Light snacks and coffee are usually available. Join us to save resources, learn new skills, and connect with neighbors.
Martha's Kitchen
Every first and third Monday, volunteers prepare a free nutritious hot meal for the community. All are welcome, free of charge, and you do not need to RSVP.
Martha’s Kitchen is located in the basement fellowship hall, and we have a handicap accessible chair lift to navigate the stairs. Just follow signs off the street and join us for a lovely hour of fellowship and delicious food.
Circle Nursery School Gallery Night
Join us for Circle Nursery School Gallery Night — an evening celebrating the creativity of our youngest artists! The gallery will showcase a vibrant collection of paintings, drawings, and crafts made by the children of Circle Nursery School. Enjoy tasty food, try your luck at the faceprinting raffle baskets, and support this important school fundraiser. All are welcome to participate and help sustain the ministry and programs of the school.

Ash Wednesday Service
Join us at Zion Episcopal Church for our Ash Wednesday service as we begin the Lenten journey together. All are welcome to receive the imposition of ashes, join in prayer, and reflect on God’s grace. The service will include Scripture, prayer, hymns, and a brief homily to guide your observance of Ash Wednesday.
Pre-Lenten Feast
Come share a warm, communal meal as we prepare together for the season of Lent.
Join us for our Pre-Lenten Feast on Sunday, Feb 15, during coffee hour following the service. Traditionally observed on Maundy Tuesday (Fat Tuesday), this year we’ll celebrate together with a buffet-style potluck after Sunday Worship. All are welcome to join even if you don’t bring a dish.
Morning Prayer VIA ZOOM
Due to severe weather and extreme temperatures, we will be observing Morning Prayer via Zoom. Please contact us via our contact form or Facebook page to request the link to join.
Martha's Kitchen CANCELLED
Due to the severe weather and cold, Martha’s Kitchen is cancelled this weekend. Please join us at the next Martha’s Kitchen on February 21.
Lasagna Dinner
Our annual dinner back with lower prices and the same generous serving of delicious homemade lasagna with sides of tossed salad, Italian bread, and dessert.
Tickets are $15/dinner and are available at the church office (10 Park Place, Avon, NY 14414) during office hours. Monday’s 10am - 1pm and Tuesday - Thursday, 2:30pm-6:30pm.
If you would like to preorder tickets but are unable to visit during office hours, please call 585-226-3722.
Dinner pickup is October 18 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the North Avenue entrance to the church.
A limited number of dinners will be available at the door during pickup. These dinners are first-come-first-served and cash only.
Easter Sunday
Celebrate the joy of Easter with us on Sunday, April 20, at 10:00 AM at Zion Episcopal Church in Avon, NY! Join us as we rejoice in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with a beautiful and uplifting service filled with sacred music, scripture, and Holy Eucharist.
As part of our Easter tradition, you are welcome to bring fresh flowers to help decorate our Easter Cross, a symbol of new life and hope.
All are welcome, regardless of religious background. Come as you are and share in the joy of this special day!

Good Friday
Join us on Friday, April 18, at 7:00 PM for our Good Friday service at Zion Episcopal Church in Avon, NY. This solemn service invites us to reflect on the Passion and Crucifixion of Jesus Christ through scripture, prayer, and contemplation.
As we journey through this sacred time, we honor the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the hope that follows.
All are welcome to join us, regardless of religious background. Come as you are and take part in this time of remembrance and reverence.

Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday)
Join us on Thursday, April 17, at 7:00 PM for our Maundy Thursday service at Zion Episcopal Church in Avon, NY. This solemn and reflective service commemorates the Last Supper, Jesus' commandment to love one another, and the institution of the Holy Eucharist.
Through scripture, prayer, and the symbolic stripping of the altar, we enter into the sacred journey of Holy Week.
All are welcome to join us, regardless of religious background. Come as you are and experience this meaningful time of worship and reflection.

Palm Sunday
Join us at Zion Episcopal Church in Avon, NY, for our Palm Sunday service on April 13th at 10:00 AM. Experience the beginning of Holy Week with a meaningful liturgy, followed by a warm and welcoming coffee hour—a cherished tradition at Zion. Our services are held at 10 Park Place, Avon, NY 14414, all are welcome regardless of religion to join our services.
Cleanup Day
Join us for Cleanup Day at Zion Episcopal Church! On April 12, we will gather do some spring cleaning and refresh our church grounds. Your help is essential to keep our spaces beautiful and welcoming for everyone. Bring your gloves, tools, and a spirit of stewardship as we work together to care for our spaces. If you don’t have tools or gloves, you can still join us and lend a hand!
Ash Wednesday
Join us for an Ash Wednesday Worship and Holy Communion service led by Rev. Krista Cameron as we begin the season of Lent. This service will provide a meaningful opportunity for reflection and preparation for the journey ahead. All are welcome to attend and seek a deeper connection during this sacred time. We look forward to starting this Lenten journey together.
Shrove Tuesday
Join us for a dish-to-pass celebration of Shrove Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday and is a day to enjoy a big meal and fellowship before we enter into the season of Lent and fasting. All are welcome to join us in the Parish Hall! If you would like to bring a dish-to-pass, there is a sign up sheet in the hall (see a member if you need assistance).

Our Annual Meeting will take place in the Fellowship Hall following service and coffee hour.
Martha's Kitchen
Martha’s Kitchen is a program that serves free, healthy lunches. We make nutritious meals and provide a welcoming place for people to eat and connect. All are welcome to join us!
Repair Cafe
Our Repair Café meets monthly and provides a range of repair services including electrical, sewing, wood, and mechanical repairs. All are welcome to participate in mending or having something mended (or both) and share in the tasty coffee and refreshments. Or, if you are in a hurray, you can drop off your project and pick it up later.
Church Office Closed
The church office will be closed for the holiday season, but we will check voicemails a few days each week. If you leave a message at 585-226-3722, we will try to return your call as soon as possible.

Sunday services will continue as usual.
The office will reopen on January 21, with regular hours from Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 2 PM.
Christmas Day Service
Join us Christmas morning for worship and Holy Communion as we celebrate together the joy and hope of Jesus’ birth. All are welcome.
Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
Join us for a candle lit evening of Christmas carols and Holy Communion. Service begins at 7pm.
